Dillo is a self-service smart convenience store based in Texas. We were involved in the creation of this brand since its preliminary stages, and were tasked with creating something that felt proud of its texan roots while also being accessible and approachable to all. We wanted something warm, friendly and timeless, with the feel of your mom and pop corner store that you can find in your old neighborhood, with a modern technological twist.

The armadillo is not only the state animal of Texas, but it also manages to traverse great distances and feed itself, all the while staying in its safe shell (much like the store itself!). With a bold, chunky type for its wordmark and strong americana and western graphic influences, Dillo is lively, playful and instantly recognizable.
